Rockford Products has been a major industrial force since our
inception in 1929, pioneering many technical advances in the design, manufacture
and distribution of cold-formed components, engineered fasteners and other
related products. Here are a few highlights from our more than
80 years in business:
Company Established
The year is 1929 and Rockford Screw Products Co. opens for business in a
12,000 sq. ft. facility
with 16 employees to service the local furniture manufacturing.
The War Effort
During World War II (the early 1940’s), the company devoted nearly all of
its resources to war production shipping as much as two freight car loads of
aircraft parts a day.
Recognized for Quality
Rockford products achieved ISO 9002 certification and QS 9000 certification
in 1997.
In 2000 Rockford focuses on providing the market large diameter cold formed
special products
2007 Black Eagle Partners assumed ownership and renamed the company
Rockford Products LLC.
April 2008 Rockford is recertified TS 16949 and
ISO 14000. Rockford focuses on safety, quality, delivery, and cost
through the implementation of lean manufacturing.
